Vanilla Ice Cream

Vanilla Ice Cream
recipe by Stella B’s Kitchen
printer friendly version

Place all ingredients in refrigerator to thoroughly chill. Mix all ingredients together.

1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 ½ cups 2 % milk
½ cup heavy cream
1 cup ½ & ½
2 Tbsp vanilla extract

(Follow your manufacturer’s instructions for making ice cream.)

My machine instructs all cold ingredients be dumped into the ice cream cavity and turned on to churn for about 30 minutes.  Meanwhile, place container you plan to store ice cream in, in the freezer so it won’t melt the soft ice cream.  Freeze until you are ready to serve...if you can wait:)

*soften ice cream by setting at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping and serving

MMmmmm. Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream!

You must dip your spoon in and sample at this point...for quality control purposes.

After 30 minutes...nice and thick! Small children will come running with open mouths like baby birds right now...

I have something incredible to serve with this ice cream coming up! Ice cream's best friend. Can you guess?
